My daughter and I went for breakfast on a Sunday , definitely worth the wait. Food was exceptional. I had the 1/2 order B&G, delicious. If any of you have seen my posts previously, I am a B&G snob, their gravy is 10/10, homemade biscuit was delicious. Bacon was also cooked perfectly and tasted very good. Scrambled eggs were perfect as well. We also had the carafe of mimosas and were very satisfied. Nice touch to an excellent breakfast. Staff was very kind. Definitely will be back when I was visiting again.

This place is a fantastic little spot to eat in small town southern Illinois! It's nice to find something different that's high quality. It is small, so definitely plan for a wait. We were lucky and walked right in at 10, but it filled up fast after we sat down. Definitely worth it though, all the food and coffee was high quality, we will definitely come back if we visit the area again!

This is a must stop breakfast spot. Everything was perfect. My over medium egg was .... over MEDIUM. not over easy as most places make them. The Dutch Babies are perfect. My wife and I split a regular breakfast and each got our preferred Dutch Baby. We will be coming back on our next visit. 50 for the both of us but we did kinda get three meals. No espresso. Not a complaint from me just knowledge for you. Oh and they make a bloody Mary with Mezcal!

This place is a gem. The food is spectacular, the cocktails are incredible. I never even had to ask if the gravy was made from scratch because I knew it would be excellent, and it is. I love the lemon blueberry dutch babies. The adult hot chocolate (I can't remember the proper name) is so tasty. Eat here if you love food and love yourself. You won't regret it. I will add the building is pretty small, parties of 4 or more may take a longer time to get seated. But there's a cool antique store next door you can peruse while you wait!

This was amazing. We also enjoyed an espresso martini. Nice atmosphere and shopping next door if there is a wait. The wait is worth it! Left a @walk4rox rock.

Great brunch spot in the heart of the Shawnee Hills Wine Trail area with Dutch babies, brunch, mimosas and much more. ideal for smaller groups but can accommodate more while they shop next door at the charming vintage shop. A “must” southern Illinois experience

The Iron Whisk has been on our bucket list of places to try. It did not disappoint. Our waitress was amazing. She went over several different menu options with us. I decided on the Loaded Bowl with scrambled eggs, bacon, smashed potatoes, the best sausage gravy and a biscuit. It was the best breakfast food we have had here in Southern IL. Everything was delicious, great presentation. They have a wide variety on the menu something for everyone. Definitely looking forward to going back and trying some of their other menu items.

Unique, DELICIOUS food and drinks, some locally sourced. Small dining room, so get there early or be prepared to wait patiently. Highly recommend!
